Practical guides
The labs teach through one repository and one story. These guides drop the story and keep the method. Each stands on its own, so you can hand one to a colleague who hasn't done the workshop.
| Guide | Read it when | What you leave with |
|---|---|---|
| AGENTS.md that works | You're writing or rewriting the file every Droid session starts from | A section-by-section structure, before-and-after examples, and a way to test the file instead of admiring it |
| Guardrails for regulated repos | You're preparing a proof of concept somewhere code changes get audited | What to put in place before the first delegation, and how to present it to a model-risk or security reviewer |
| Droid in CI | You want Droid running headless in a pipeline | Patterns for droid exec that are bounded, reviewable and cheap enough to run on every pull request |
Every Droid fact in these guides was checked against Factory's documentation on 29 September 2026. The docs change. When a guide and the docs disagree, trust the docs, and tell us.
